Our senior pastor is a native of Winter Park, Florida. He is the youngest of 3 children, and as a young child moved to Lilburn, Georgia. After graduating high school, Michael moved to Valdosta, Georgia to attend college at Valdosta State University and graduated with a Business Administration degree. While in college, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and 2 years later was called into vocational ministry. He hold a Masters of Divinity degree from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, which he received in 2007. He has previously served as the lead pastor of a church in Thomaston, Georgia and in South Carolina.
Michael’s greatest joy is seeing lost souls come into the kingdom. His passion is teaching people how to apply God’s word to their everyday lives. His desire is to see Christ glorified in and through the life of God’s people.
Michael married his high school sweetheart, Michelle, in 1999. Michelle is a devoted wife and mother, a native of Georgia, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. They have 3 children: Nathan, Anna-Marie, and Carlee Hope.
Michael loves to spend time with his family. He also enjoys watching college football and likes spending time outdoors.
